10 Rules to Rule the Web: Netiquette

Welcome again my dear reader,

I would like to present the work I have done for my ICT and metarial design course. For this assignment, I created an infographic. I decided to focus on netiquette, because I think it is a really relevant topic in today's digital world. In my infographic, I focused on the 10 core rules of netiquette and tried to explain them in a simple and clear way using a timeline chart so that anyone can understand them easily.

I used Canva and at the beginning, I thought it would be an easy task because I really like designing and creating something. But it turned out to be a bit more challenging than I expected. The hardest part was deciding how to organize the information. I didn't want it to look too crowded. But at the same time, I didn't want to leave out any important details. Also, choosing elements and the layout took more time than I thought. I wanted it to look clean and visually appealing,  not messy. Another difficulty was shortening the explanations because it was hard to say something briefly. And designing with apps without paying was also a bit difficult because we had limited access to the features. That's why I made some sacrifices for this project, like buying Canva Pro 😁. However, despite these problems, I would rather create an infographic again than just writing something passively.

I think infographics can be very useful in the English classroom. They make learning more interesting and interactive, so students are not bored with long texts. Also, when students create their own infographics, they learn the topic and how to organize information,  rather than just memorizing information. In my opinion, this makes learning more active and meaningful. I hope this infographic will be useful for you too. ❤
